Petits Pas studio is looking for an excellent and enthusiastic ballet teacher to join our family oriented dance studio!

Requirements:

- Have strong experience in teaching beginner & advanced ballet kids, teens, & adults (starting 4 years old).

- BFA/MFA in dance OR combination of dance education and performance experience equivalent.

- Comfortable teaching up 2 to 4 consecutive hours of ballet and creating choreographies for annual performances.

- Punctual, attentive to detail, organized and responsible.

- Motivated, energetic and passionate about teaching.

- Can create lesson plans that balance keeping the students engaged and teaching them proper ballet technique. 

- Able to deliver clear instructions and expectations to students in a kind and encouraging manner.

- Comfortable interacting with parents of young dancers.

- Experience in pointe, contemporary, strength and flexibility, pilates or yoga is a plus.

Hourly wage depending on years of experience.

Paid training available for the right candidate.
